have an effect/effects on/upon意为“对……有影响，对……有作用”。

turn此处是系动词，意为“变”，偏重事物改变的状况。
become,get,go,grow和turn的差异
这几个词都能作系动词。become,get和go标明改变的进程现已结束。become用法比照正式，get和go常见于口语，go后多跟贬义词。grow 有“逐骤变成新的状况”的意义。而turn则有“变成完全不一样的事物”的意义。
此外，这几个词中， become和turn后可以接名词作表语。假定作表语的名词是可数名词奇数，become后的表语前大约有不定冠词a或an，而turn后则不大约有冠词.

在1998年他变成了律师。
2)she became a doctor in 2000.
在2000年她变成了医生。
3)an ugly duckling becomes a white swan.
